Councilor from the Third District, was born in Bowdoinham in 1840. He was educated in the common schools and at Westbrook Seminary. He is a prominent merchant and manufacturer at Bowdoinham, and has contributed much to the prosperity of his town. He is one of the directors in the National Village Bank. Since 1884, Mr. Carr has been a mamber of the Republican State Committee. He was been county commissioner six years, filling the position with satisfaction; he was re-elected in 1888. |
