Old St. Mary's Cemetery, East Britannia Street, Taunton, MA
We had originally transcribed only those gravestones with a place of origin in Ireland when we first visited this cemetery in 2003, but as of July 2007 we are now updating the list to include all existing stones in the cemetery. This being called the oldest Catholic cemetery in Taunton, it is in surprisingly good condition. Most of the stones are intact and legible. The only problem are lots of little black flying bugs, which seem to inhabit all the Taunton cemeteries!

(This memorial is located near the center of the cemetery)
In Memory of Veterans of the Grand Army of the Republic Buried in St. Mary Cemetery
