Michael F. Sullivan, son of Denis Sullivan and Mary Kearney, was born in 1877 in Co. Cork, Ireland. He immigrated through Boston about 1896 with his parents and siblings. He lived in New Bedford where he worked as an overseer in a cotton mill. Michael married twice. By his first wife he had Francis and Mary, and by his second wife he had Margaret and John.
