St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol RI
St. Mary's Cemetery in Bristol was probably established in the 1870s. However, many of the families appear to be connected or related to those buried in St. Mary of the Bay in Warren, and so both cemeteries should be checked for related families. Many of the headstones in Warren cite the place of death as Bristol. St. Mary's in Bristol has a small area of perhaps 3 sections of Irish burials, but is for the most part Italian and Portuguese. We are in the process of transcribing all of what appear to be Irish burials, and have completed about one-third.
