The History of US Biographies...

The project was organized in May 1997 by Jeff Murphy, using the established KY Biographies Project as a model. State Coordinators were sought to set up their own state project. They were offered the system design and tools created for the KY project, but were free to set up their project in any way they chose.

This page was created to provide a single entry point for all the Utah Biographies.  US Biographies becomes the single entry point for all state projects.

Remembering Jeff Murphy...                                   

I would like to acknowledge Jeff Murphy and all the time and effort he put into getting this project started. His presence is missed but thanks to him many people will be able to continue their family search over the internet at no cost.
