		These Eight getting started lessons on this CD are a great way to begin!

	They could also be used by family history consultants who have been asked to teach a Sunday School class. But don’t stop after the 8 lessons. There are dozens of other lessons on this CD to help you learn all the details.


	There are also links to wonderful tutorials prepared by others that you can access if you are connected to the Internet!

#2-PAF Data Entry and Sources	Using the documents you gathered in Lesson #1, learn how to enter the information in Personal Ancestral File and record the sources.
#3-What Has Already Been Done?	Locate and correspond with others researching your family lines. Import their information into PAF and print reports to evaluate the data.
#4-Evaluate Your Data	Evaluate your data, determine research goals and add tasks to your research log.
#5-Using Today’s Technology to Verify Your Data	Locate records that will answer your questions; search the records, record results and file sources.
#6-Update Ordinances	Learn how to use TempleReady Update, Internet IGI and PAF Insight to find ordinance information.
#7-Temple Submission & TempleReady	Learn how to submit your ancestors’ names to the temple for ordinance work.
#8-Sharing Your Family History	Share your family history through GEDCOM, online resources, printed reports, games, etc.
