CEDAR CITY--Funeral services were conducted Thursday in the L. D. S. Third
ward chapel for Lenora Macfarlane Dalley, 69, wife of Mayhew H. Dalley, who
died Tuesday after many years illness from Bright's disease. Burial was in
Cedar City cemetery.
She was born here March 31 1864, a daughter of Daniel S. and Katurah
Macfarlane, and was married in the St. George L. D. S. temple, March 22,
1882.
In earlier days she had been an active L. D. S. Church worker.
Surviving are her husband and eight sons and daughters, Hillman and Maeser
Dalley, Cedar City; Rulon S. and Ray Dalley, Los Angeles; Mrs. Ora Reese
Davis, Cal.; Mrs. Erva Sobatch, Rocklin, Cal.; Mrs. Kate McAllister and Mrs.
Rilla Hansen, Spanish Fork; brothers and sisters, William and Kenneth
Macfarlane, Mrs. Eliza Parry and Mrs. May Higbee, Cedar City, and Mrs. Emma
Adair, Kanab; half-brothers and sisters, John C. and Glenn Macfarlane and
Mrs. David Dix, Cedar City; Mrs. Claude Morris, St. George; Mrs. Arch J.
Gale and Mrs. Wanda Curt, Ogden; Mrs. Ethel Myers, Panguitch, and Mrs. Ivey
Green, Los Angeles.
