Piute County Local History Resources
Ongoing Local History Projects
![]()
McVoy Barben has been gathering data to honor and preserve the memory of
all those Marysvale men and women who served their country in the armed forces
and closely-related organizations.
Click here for a list of those men and women identified so far.
We have written short biographies of many of these veterans,
but there are still many of whom we know nothing but their names.
We need your help and contributions!
All help is appreciated, whether it is a fully-written biography or
a simple list of facts that we can use to write the biography for you.
Click here for the World War I section as compiled by Ardis E. Parshall.
These are brief entries &endash; you are free (and encouraged!) to write with more detail.
You may submit your veteran's history to
McVoy Barben
P.O. Box 65
Marysvale, UT 84750
or directly through this site. Click here to submit your information
or to ask for more details regarding this project.
(No email attachments, please; paste your information into an email message.)
Note: Although the focus in this project is on those men and women who lived in Marysvale before their military service, the County Coordinator desires to preserve a record of all servicemen with ties to the town, including those who moved to Marysvale after their service. Click here to contact the County Coordinator.
