The Alleghany Highlands Genealogical Society is active in preserving the genealogical records of Alleghany County and the surrounding areas in Virginia and West Virginia. The Society meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at 1011 North Rockbridge Street Suite 102, Covington, VA. We invite you to visit our Library and Archives at the same location. We will be excited to see you and welcome the chance to show you around. Our hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am - 3 pm. We would like to invite you to join our Society. We can always use your help!
