HEFNER, VELKER, WALKER -
George WALKER (Originally VELKER) was a German immigrant to Botetourt Co, VA. He married and had descendents in the same county. One of his sons was Daniel WALKER B 14 Mar 1793. His wife was Margaret HEFNER B abt 1763 in Maryland. George was buried in Botetourt Co VA. The entry for the place of birth is confusing. It Reads"Buried in Botetort Co VA by Little Cemetery across from the Leffelhouse. I dont know if Little refers to size or a family name. I dont know if there is one Leffelhouse of import that is traceable in thes County or if there were several. Thank you for your attention. Rick W. Mandigo

FAIDLEY, MILLER, STROUP -
Seek info on Jacob MILLER (b. ca 1801) and wife Frances and on John FAIDLEY and wife Elizabeth (b. ca. 1788). Both appear on 1850 Augusta Co census in Greenville section, nr Rockbridge Co border. Wish to prove that Jacob MILLER is father of Albert G. MILLER (b. 1823) of Rockbridge/Botetourt Cos. Wish to find info on Elizabeth FAIDLEY, who was mother of Albert G.'s wife Malinda STROUP. Eliz may have first married a STROUP.
