Chester Ray Burns, 55 of Buchanan, died Thursday February 9, in a Salem hospital.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Noel, Cloverdale; Mrs. Cordelia Dillon, Brooklyn, NY.;

four brothers, Thurston A. Burns, Covington; Norman Burns, Buchanan;

William N. Burns, Roanoke; Charles K. Burns, Catawba.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Jackson Baptist Church

 with interment in the church cemetery.
