DAVIS, Robert Edward, 84, of Clifton Forge, departed this life at 3 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 1996 at Alleghany Regional Hospital after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; two children, Eutha Patricia Davis, Chicago, Ill., Paul Edward Davis, Clifton Forge; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Davis, Clifton Forge; a host of stepchildren, grand and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 1 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, Clifton Forge. The Rev. John H. Davis will officiate. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow at the Jackson Baptist Church, Springwood. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Frank Miller Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
