James Edward Washington 77, of Springwood died Sunday at his home. Surviving are his wife, Minnie G. Washington; two sons, William Rose, George Rose, both of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Twyman, Washington, DC; Ms. Shirley Davis, Columbus, Ohio; four brothers, Roy Washington, Haywood Washington, Walter Washington, Homer Washington, all of Buchanan; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Jackson Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Townes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
