MYERS, James Alden, 55, of Fincastle, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003. Graveside service, 3 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2003, Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery, Botetourt County. Arrangements by Lotz Vinton Chapel.

 

MYERS, Linda Louise, of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2002. God called a special Angel home that he had loaned to us for 56 years. She was very special to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all but we take comfort in knowing that she is healed and whole again in Heaven with Jesus. She was an employee of Goodwill Industries for 34 years. She had many special friends for which she loved and was loved by them. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Earl Bradley of Blue Ridge; brothers, James Myers of Fincastle, Carl Crowder and wife Linda of Groveport, Ohio; special niece, Patricia Wilcher of Roanoke; plus many family members who loved her dearly. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2002 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. Burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fincastle. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.

She is survived by two sons and daughters – in – law, Michael E. & Linda Berry of Roanoke; Stephen M. and Wanda Berry of Waldorf, Md.; four sisters and brothers – in –law, Hallie Massey of Fredericksburg; Audrey and Edward Kluge of Temple Hills; Darys and George Cahoon, Jennie and Carl Cahoon of Fincastle. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey’s North Chapel 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 20, with the Rev. Bill Betts officiating. Burial will be in Mount

Pleasant Cemetery, Botetourt County. Friends may call Oakey’s North Chapel after 5:00 p.m.
