MYERS, Linda Louise, of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday,
December 21, 2002. God called a special Angel home that he had loaned to us for
56 years. She was very special to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed
by all but we take comfort in knowing that she is healed and whole again in
Heaven with Jesus. She was an employee of Goodwill Industries for 34 years. She
had many special friends for which she loved and was loved by them. Survivors
include a sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Earl Bradley of Blue Ridge;
brothers, James Myers of Fincastle, Carl Crowder and wife Linda of Groveport,
Ohio; special niece, Patricia Wilcher of Roanoke;
plus many family members who loved her dearly. Funeral services will be
conducted 2 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2002 from the Lotz
Vinton Chapel. Burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant
United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fincastle. Friends
may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the Lotz Funeral
Home, Vinton Chapel.

Wright, Mr. William Leo, 72, of Fincastle,
passed away peacefully at Brian Center Nursing Care on Monday, March 17, 2003. He was
a U. S. Navy veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. Leo served on
several ships including the USS Lake Champlain, USS Coral Sea, USS Pittsburgh
and the USS Block Island. He will be missed by his wife of 49 years, Anna
Dalton Wright; two sons, Larry and his wife, Margee
of Fincastle, Tony and his wife, Crystal of Troutville; daughter, Karen and her
husband, Wayne Utt of Buchanan; one
