Indenture made the 28th day of May, 1764, between Robert Hicks and Mary, his wife, parties of the first part, and James Parham, for 100 pounds, conveying 50 acres on Miry Branch, White Oak on Parhams Branch. Signed by Robert Hicks and Mary Hicks (her mark). Witnesses were Lewis Lanier, Zachariah Sims, and Lewis Parham.
