I am researching the KIRKLAND line I have a picture of a monument of Richard Rowland Kirkland which I think was taken in Fredericksburg, VA. he was in Co. G 2ND C.S.A. South Carolina Volunteers he was at Marye's Height. I would appreciate any info. that I can get on him.

VASS; BROOKE: Susannah BROOKE m. James VASS around 1798 in Fredericksburg, VA. James VASS died at age 68 in 1837. They had issue:

James VASS m. 2nd Elizabeth B. Maury. Have info. about Elizabeth but no info. about Susannah Brooke VASS. Would like to know when she died, where buried, any information about her. We named our daughter after her.

I am looking for individuals researching JONES. My grandfather was born in Richmond and had several siblings. One or more of these moved to Fredericksburg and married a Dr. ROSE of Fredricksburg. According to the 1900 census of Richmond, Green Street the following lived in the Jones household. J. O. JONES (Head), J. A. JONES (wife), children listed were Maria E., Harry A., Albeta M., Junias F., Joseph F. and Roager N.

William Albert WATSON, born 1856, in Va. was in Civil War as a water boy for both sides. His death certificate, in 1939, stated his father, Robert Albert Watson and Mother, Mary NASH, were both born Fredricksburg, Va. Am not able to verify, or find birth, marriage, or death of Robert Albert Watson or Mary Nash. Can anyone help!!
