Each photocopy is $.50. Certified records are $2.00 each. You will be billed for the amount due.

Be sure to include all information contained in the index entry when requesting a copy.

This index is annotated with the following keys :

• (AN) following a surname indicates that the last marriage of the person was annulled.
• (D) following a surname indicates that the person was divorced at the time the marriage license was issued.
• (W) following a surname indicates that the person was widowed at the time the marriage license was issued.

Variations in spellings in last names are shown as separate entries. Names incorrectly indexed in previous indices are listed twice - once as appearing in the old index and once as corrected.

Names were entered as found. Abbreviations were not expanded unless the full name was found somewhere in the document.

The index includes some applications for which licenses were never issued.

This index was compiled from original marriage papers (bond, application, license and/or minister's return). The index does NOT include marriages recorded in marriage registers unless original papers exist for such marriages. No attempt has been made to reconcile the original marriage papers against marriage register entries.
