can be requested from the Virginia Department of Health Office
of Vital Records, which houses more than 7 million records.
1853-1896 Birth & Death records are on file at The Virginia
Archives as well as marriage records prior to 1936

The Court House for the City of Radford, Virginia
has records from 1892 of wills, deeds, land plats, marriages,
divorces and miscellaneous court orders. Death records are kept
at the Health Department but only for the three prior years.
The hours for the Radford Court House are: 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday
through Friday. It is closed on all official holidays.
