Huffman, Dorsey Unmarked grave (Obit has died 21 Apr 1930)
Son of Evelyn Huffman Victim of Ohio Penitentiary fire Buried here Wednesday Dorsey Huffman who was serving a life sentence in the Ohio Penitentiary at Columbus for murder and robbery and who was one of the 320 convicts to lose his Life in the flames that destroyed a portion of the prison on the night of April 21st; was Buried in the Waugh graveyard here on last Wednesday. The body reached here on Tuesday evening and was held over till Wednesday afternoon in the undertaking Establishment of Mr. E. W. Camper. The body bore the marks of fire and the evidence Of pain and suffering. Especially was this true of the hands which were drawn and Crisp from the intense heat of the cell bars which the dying man had held to and Battered in a losing struggle to escape that most horrible of deaths that of the flames Rev. W. P. Saunders of the M. E. Church, South, conducted the services at the grave.
