"Will of Samuel PHELPS, dated 5 Aug 1790, Pro. 26 Oct 1790.  
Grandson, William James WATKINS; daughter Peggy WATKINS, 50 acres where she now lives  joining Williams and Henry PERKINS line; 
daughter, Elizabeth DUNKIN, 84 acres to be laid off joining Charles CANNONs; daughter, Sarah CONER, land to be laid in Mecklenburg joining John CHAMBERLAIN's land and the Lottie(?) lands to be held by her and her heirs; daughter, Polly PHELPS; granddaughter, Masey  BURRES/BURROS; 
to my wife, Elizabeth PHELPS, the use of the land and Plantation, stock, cattle, hogs and horses and five negros; 
daughter Patty PHELPS; 
daughter Nancy PHELPS; 
daughter, Mary Ann PECK, 5 acres land in Mecklenburg County that her grandmother lives on, Mary CHAMBERLAIN.
