RYLAND, SHELOR, YOUNG - Am looking for an Elizabeth RYLAND, daughter of Joseph RYLAND, who married Jacob SHELOR. An Elizabeth RYLAND married Joseph YOUNG in Elizabeth City County, and they may be the same person, or related. Jacob SHELOR was a stone mason, and moved to South Carolina after his wife died with two sons, leaving his two daughters with his wife's relatives. Interested in any info about any of these people.

RUTHERFORD - Acc. to Nugent's "Cavaliers & Pioneers--Abstracts of Virginia Land Patents and Grants 1623-1666," John Rutherford arrived in Elizabeth City on the Warwicke in 1621. Would like more info on the Warwicke; e.g. where from? other passengers?
