Edward, Grace and their son William are listed in 1624 Virginia records living in Elizabeth City Co., VA. Edward and Grace also had a daughter, Margaret. Edward Waters came to the Virginia around 1609-1615 on the ship Patience. I will greatly appreciate any help or information on this family.

COXE, BOULDINGE, CHRISTMAN, CALTHROPP - William Coxe came to Virginia in the "Godspeed" in 1610. He was listed as residing in Elizabeth City in 1624 and granted a lease in 1628 for 100 acres "within the precincts of Elizabeth City" in the Strawberry Banks area. Neighbors included Thomas Bouldinge, Dictoris Christmas and Christopher Calthropp. I would like to exchange information with others who are researching or interested in the Coxe family.

STOCKTON - Hi, I am searching the Stockton line also. My grandfather was William Wallace Stockton. His father was Jacob Stockton. The only thing I know about Jacob is: born 07/Mar/1842 in Illinois; lived in Sinclair, IL; in the 1870 census, he was a saloon keeper; married Mary Ellen Bingman in 1875, Morgan County; d 09/Oct/1920. I know that seems like alot, but on his death certificate, it says parents name - unknown. Jacob might have been son of a Patterson Stockton. Patterson was son of Thomas Stockton m Sarah Blake.
