DOBBINS - I'm trying to find information on the Dobbins family, here's what I have so far: Thomas Dobbins (b. about 1771) m. Anne Skinner (b. about 1774). One of their sons was Thomas Skinner Dobbins (b. 1798), who married Anne Berkeley WHITFIELD (b. 1810) Thomas and Mary had Mary Ann Dobbins (b. 1842), she married Joseph Bowers HERBERT on 16 Oct. 1858. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

ROGERS - HOLLIER (HOLYER) - SHIELD - ROGERS, Dr. Wilmot F.---I am trying to find his parents. He was born about 1791 (maybe in Alabama area) He married Mariah Holyer (Hollier) in 1816 in North Carolina. A Wilmot F. Rogers was a naval officer (a doctor on Schooner) in War of 1812. He and Mariah had children: Telemachus b. 1 Jan 1816; Augustine b. abt 1819; Theopholis b. 26 Apr 1820; and Wilmot (or Walcot) b. abt 1822.
