According to the Scheel Map Armstrong Mountain is north and a little east of Warrenton just east of Rt 672 or Evergreen Road. It is west of Rt 694. The West Mill Run is to the east of the mountain. Arlie Airfield is just south of Armstrong Mountain. Evergreen Hill is just to the east of Armstrong mountain. The Armstrong Leach cemetery is north east of Armstrong mountain. Bust head road and Bust Head Shop is north east of Armstrong Mountain. Two mile branch is just west of Armstrong mountain. Norris shop is just west of Armstrong Mountain. Alton Farms is just west of Armstrong Mountain where 628 Hebron Church Road and and 672 Evergreen intersect. Alton farms was the home place of William Rowley Smith and John Thomas Cockrill my ancestors. Our ancestors would have know each other. Just a beautiful country side area. There are big expensive homes all over the area today.
