Funeral services will be Monday November 3, 1997 at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home with The Rev. Buckey Handy officiating. Interment in Canaday Cemetery. Obit of Mary Darlene Flowers Allen ALLEN, Mary Darlene Flowers, 46, of Copper Hill, died Sunday, February 18, 1996 in a Roanoke hospital. Surviving are her husband, Alton Lee Allen, Copper Hill; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Stacy and Bobby Stevens, Vinton, Shelby and Ronnie Yopp, Flo yd, Anglia Frank and her fiance, David Green, Check; two sons, Cedric Allen, Vinton, Alton Lee Allen Jr., of the home; five grandchildren; her mother, Betty Flowers, Roanoke; two sisters, Patricia Stevens and Cathy Snead, both of Vinton; two brothers, Alvin L. Flowers and Steven D. Flowers, both of Roanoke. Funeral 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, with the Rev. John Early officiating. Interment in the Cannaday Cemetery . The famiy will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home

TRAIL, Hubert Linwood, 65, of Floyd, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2002 at Skyline Manor Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilton Trail; mother, Dessie Brammer Trail; and brother, Harlie Trail. He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Alvie and Katherine Trail of Bassett, Gilbert and Linda Trail of Shawsville; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Glendon Boyd of Floyd, Mary and Junior Hylton of Christiansburg, Polly and Roger Boyd of Floyd, Dorothy and John Yoder of Hillsville; several nieces and nephews; and a special friends, Henry Akers of Floyd. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Cannaday Cemetery with the Rev. Leon Wood officiating. Friends may call Tuesday after 1 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
