She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Virgel and Cherly Allen, Floyd, James and Jerri Lynn Allen, North Beach, Md., Lynwood and Brenda Allen, Floyd; one sister, Gertrude Trail, Martinsville; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Monday November 3, 1997 at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home with The Rev. Buckey Handy officiating. Interment in Canaday Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Sunday at Gardner Funeral Home, where the family will be from 6 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Floyd Co. Rescue Squad or the Floyd Co. Fire Department.
