On this date we found only two stones:

 

Benjamin Dodd                                              18 Jul 1780                  8 Sep 1856

 

Caleb Dodd                                                    age 11 yr 8 mo 10 d    9 Aug 1824

 

Some years before Evelyne Rutrough had documented:

 

Mary Dodd (nee Prosize)                                30 Dec 1780                22 Jun 1844

w/o Benjamin Dodd

 

Rebecca Dodd                        age 78 yr                     abt.  1766                   10 Mar 1844

 

Emily Bishop                                                  age 3 yr 3 mo 10 d      29 Feb 1852  

 

 

Hugh Nester had a snapshot taken about 8 years prior to this visit and showing the stone of Caleb standing.  As of this date, there were no standing stones and Benjamin’s and Caleb’s were almost covered with grass.  It is believed that many of the Dodd relatives and neighbors were buried here - Bishop, Weaver, and probably others.
