ELISABETH SEMONES.

Mrs. Elisabeth Semones was born December 18, 1842, and departed this life March 17, 1907, making her stay on earth 55 years, 2 months and 27 days.

She was married to Joshua A. Semones, August 6, 1860; and joined the Primitive Baptist church in 1899. She loved her church and was a faithful member till her health had failed. When her health failed, she was sent to Mothers Home, where she underwent, an operation for tumors without fear, saying, "If it is God's will, I will get well; but, it is not his will, I am willing to go. The operation was made on the 15th and she died on the 17th. Her last words were for me not to grieve after her, and to trust in the Lord, for he was the only one to look to. I feel that my loss is her gain.
