BLANKENSHIP, ENGLISH, STARKEY -
Seeking information about Nannie Lee Blankenship (14 Feb 1878 - 6 May 1975) who married Luke English on 9 July 1895. In the Franklin County Marriage Record Book she is noted as: "Starkey, Nannie Lee (dau of) Edward & Frances Blankenship (since Div Now Starkey) (age) 16". I'd like to know: Was Nannie Lee married to someone named Starkey before marrying Luke English, and if so, what was Starkey's first name (and any other pertinent facts)? Or, does the divorce notation refer to her mother Frances? If so, can anyone tell me the maiden name of Frances? Thanks for any information.
