Some if not all of his children were supposed to have been born there: Marget; Nancy; Ruth; Mary; Samuel; Robert; Jessie; and Elias. Other names associated with this family: GEORGE, JONES, DEHAVEN, HUDSON. Land records and tithe tables should show this family.

PERDUE, SHOWALTER -
I am seeking information on the family of Daniel C. and Elizabeth (Sarah SHOWALTER) PERDUE of Bonbrook District, Franklin County, VA. According to the 1880 census, Daniel is 24 years old, Elizabeth is 19, and their daughter is just three months old. Listed above this family on the census is believed to be Daniel's parents, Daniel and Rebecca F., and his siblings. When I checked the 1900 and 1910 census for Franklin County, the only remaining family members are Daniel's siblings, Wade, Sarah C., Elva (Alvera?) and Dock C. The Daniel C. and Elizabeth PERDUE family are gone. I cannot connect with their daughter, Ida born April, 1889, until she marries my great uncle in San Francisco, CA in the 1920's. Is there any information on natural disasters or diseases that occurred during this time that perhaps explains why the families disappeared. Any help would be appreciated.
