Trying to locate any info on the Kennon surname of Franklin County. Josiah "Doc" Kennon, (Cannon, Kenan, Kanon), b. Nov. 4, 1817/18, Rocky Mount, Virginia. Possible parents, Henry and Elizabeth Kennon. Maybe Benjamin Kennon. Any info on the Kennon family would be appreciated.

Robert Sharp Sandefur married Susan Ascue in Russell Co. 1 June 1855. Susan's parents: Michael Ascue born Franklin Co. and Pamelia Weddle born Montgomery Co. Need info on Michael, have a GEDCOM on Pamelia.
