My gg-grandmother, Sarah Ann SCOTT is my mystery lady! She married my gg-grandfather, Robert BERNARD, who was the son of Walter BERNARD, in Franklin County 6 Jan 1823. She had two brothers, Robert A. SCOTT, who was clerk of the Courts in Franklin Co. and Michael SCOTT who was a farmer. Mrs. Mann, a genealogist in Franklin Co wrote in pencil beside Robert & Sarah in her 1850 census of Franklin Co. William SCOTT & Christine SELLERS as her parents. This book is in the Library in Rocky Mount. If these are her parents where were they from? I have been unable to find them in Franklin Co. Any information will be appreciated.
