Searching for information regarding Austin CLIFTON. Austin was born abt 1795 in Amherst County, Va. Died Dec 22, 1868 in Lee County, Va. Married Elizabeth "Eliza" WOOD. She was born March 1804 in Franklin County, Va and died After 1900 in Lee County, Va. Austin and Elizabeth were married Jan 21, 1824 in Franklin Co. Va. They had at least eight childern: Annaniah, William, Letha, Nancy, John, Noah, Delila and Alexander. All were born in Lee County.. I've been stuck on this line for sometime now. Will gladly share with others..

EDDY, MASON -
Seeking information on the parents of Thomas EDDY and Nancy MASON, his wife. They were married in Botetourt Co. in 1826 but were in Franklin Co census 1850 and 1860. Thomas was Nancy's guardian when they married, but am unable to located any information on either of their parents. Can anyone help? They had children: William, Daniel, John, Charles, Elizabeth, Nancy and Lucy. Some of their children married and lived in Pittsylvania Co.

Desperately searching for the parents of Susan Ann LEFFEW, born c1836, lived in Franklin Co according to census, 1850, 60, 70 and 80. Unable to locate after 1880. Had 4 children named: John who married Adelaide PARKER; George married Susan LAWSON, Mary married Ira PARKER and Elizabeth (Bettie) married Elijah Floyd MARTIN from Patrick Co. Elizabeth's father was Fleming PRILLAMAN but Susan was evidentally not married to him. Does anyone have any information on Susan's parents?

I am looking for the parents of my grandfather, William Aaron POWELL, b. 12 Feb 1821 in Franklin Co., d. 26 Jul 1882 in Franklin Co. and buried on his own farm near Hales Ford. He was married to Julia Anne DILLION, b. 8 May 1823 and died 27 Feb 1911 in Franklin Co. She was the daughter of Henry (Hal) DILLION and Joanna PASLEY.
