HODGES, LaPRADE -
I am trying to find out info. about my g-grandparents. They lived in Boones Mill and may have been married there also. There names were Benjamin Pete LaPRADE (no dates) & Lockey Ann HODGES (b) 1861 (d) 1958 bur: Boones Mill Baptist Church Cem. They had several children: Trobe; Muncie (b) 11/30/1892 (d) 9/17/1966 bur: Fairview Cem. Roanoke, VA; Beverly; Clare Elizabeth (b) 3/7/1901 (d) 3/5/1981; Ethelene (d) 18 or 19 yrs old; Allen Harry; Jack (d) 1929 or 1930 (murdered/shot); Minnie Lee (my grandmother) (b) 12/31/1912 in Bedford, VA she is the only one still living; Kent bur: Boones Mill beside mother Lockey. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

KEEN, ROBINS, ROLLINS -
Seeking any information on Anderson KEEN (b.1784-94). He was married to either Elizabeth ROBINS or Polly ROLLINS, on 20 Aug 1804 in Franklin County, Va. The KEEN's had moved to Grainger Co, Tenn. by 1810 and on to Clay Co. Ky by 1840. Who were these peoples parents ??? And where did they come from ??? Thank you, for any HELP !!!

Would like to locate and purchase a copy of the following book. "The Boon's and Boones Mill" : a genealogical history of the Boones family of Boones Mill & a historical pictorial of original artwork / by Tina Fisher. I saw this book in the Rocky Mount, Virginia Public Library this summer and would like to find a copy for my Boon family genealogy research. It is not available anywhere as it was a limited publication of 200 copies.

CARNER, McCORMACK, PALMORE, PAYNE, SHOWALTERS, WRIGHT -
I am seeking information on the family of William and Judith WRIGHT McCORMACK. William died in Franklin County, Virginia, probably in the 1820s. He may have been the son of William McCORMACK whose will was proved in 1775 in Bedford County. Judith, his wife, was the daughter of Joseph WRIGHT whose will was proved in Bedford County in 1815. The children of William and Judith WRIGHT McCORMACK included at least William, Mary (my ancestor), Frances, Abraham, Wright, Nancy, John, and Judith. William's widow Judith and her children William, Nancy, and Mary moved to Smith County, Tennessee, by 1830. I am especially interested in finding descendants of William (wife unknown; may have removed from Tennessee to Missouri around 1840), Frances (who may have married Abraham SHOWALTERS), Wright (who married Charlotte PAYNE in Franklin County in 1819), and Abraham (who married Judith PALMORE in Franklin County in 1825 and removed to Indiana at least by 1840). Is John McCORMACK who married Frankey CARNER in Bedford County in 1808 the son or the brother of the William McCORMACK who died in Franklin County? This John McCORMACK and his wife Frankey were living in Indiana near Abraham McCORMACK by 1840. Was Anderson McCORMACK (1820 census for Franklin County) a son of William and Judith WRIGHT McCORMACK? Any help will be appreciated!

EANES, MORAN, WADE -
I am researching Henry and Elizabeth WADE. I think Henry is from Franklin or Floyd co. One of their children is Isaac WADE that married Martha MORAN on Oct 11, 1860 in Floyd co. Isaac was born in Floyd and Martha was born in Patrick co. Isaac and Martha children are: Eunice, Sarah, Nannie, Elizabeth, Cassie, Naomi, Eden, Winston, Flemon and Josh. Elizabeth was born 10/20/1885 and died 5/26/1963. She married James A. EANES on April 13, 1905. I am also researching the EANES family. Joseph D and Jennie EANES (not sure where they are from, Floyd or Franklin I think, their children are: James Abraham, George William, Lemuel Dano, Eurey, Mary, Lora and Zula. James Abraham EANES was born on 5/17/1877 in Floyd co and died 4/10/1958. James and Elizabeth EANES children are: John, Ollie, Minnie, Norman and Eva. Both James and Elizabeth were born in Floyd co.
