Captain
John Witty of Ireland received 1400 acres by patent in 1661 he owned a
ship called the Rich and transported to and
from England.
He is the grandfather of John, in 1783 Guilford Co, NC with
DAR
Land Grant of 640 Acres. Vol. 1V, page 6, S18662.
