Ther are no stones for the graves of John
and Sarah Syme, the
following information is from their obituaries.
Departed this life at Rocky Mills in
Hanover County, the
25th of November 1805, Col. John Syme, aged 77 years 11 months.
He was an officer in the French & Indian war in 1755 and in the
American Revolution.
Sarah Syme died at Rocky Mills 20 November 1810.
