King and Queen County Historical Society

The King and Queen Historical Society was founded in 1953 to collect and preserve manuscripts and other materials pertaining to the history of the County, to encourage similar County activities, and to promote the writing of a history of the County. Meetings are held quarterly and the society publishes "The Bulletin of the King and Queen County Historical Society of Virginia" in January and July.

Membership dues, payable July 1, are $15 for individuals, $20 for couples, $4 for students. Life memberships are $300 for individuals and $400 for couples.
