Graciously donated by Diane Cukro Will of Thomas Lawrence Dated 1 April 1678 Probated january 1686 In the name of God Amen, I Thomas Lawrence, Merchant, of Lancaster County in Virginia being sound in body good health and perfect memory doe make my last Will and Teatament as followeth:
I will and bequeath my Soule into the hands of God my almighty Creator and mercyfull Redeemer, And my body to the earth therein to bee decently buried hopeing for a Resurection to Eternall Life in and through the merrits of my Blessed Saviour;
I will and bequeath to Azricam Parker, Sone of Azricam Parker of Great Wickorhoinocko in Northumberland County in Virginia, Fifteene hundred pounds of good sound merchantable tobacco and caske to continue the same;
I will and bequeath unto Ann Doggett, Daughter to Benjamin Doggett, Minister in Lancaster County in Virginia, one thousand pounds of good sound merchantable tobacco & caske to continue the same;
I will and bequeath unto my loving Wife Dorothy Lawrence all other my Estate reall and personall in Virginis where hereby revoking disclaiming disannulling and makeing voide all other of my Wills Testaments Deeds & Grants excepting one made to her Sonne, William Lister, under my hand and seale interchangeable and left in the hands of Mr. Benjamin Doggett, Minister in Lancaster County in Virginia;
In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale this first day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand and six hundred seventy eight [1678]
