Co. VA.
William Wilson Lacey b. 1839, Licking Co.,OH.
[Notes from Barbara Johnson: "Actually Stacey and
Sara had ten children, three born in Loudoun Co. True or not:
Stacey was always said to be a circuit rider, I do own a very
small Bible which belonged to him, perfect for packing in a saddleback.
I also have a history of him from Licking Co., OH but didn't include
since this in for Loudoun Co. The article only mentions he was
a Methodist and became a Lutheran. Stacey's father Samuel who
served with the Loudoun Co., Milita until 1793 was to have been
the son of Thomas and Esther, Quakers from Bucks Co.,PA, who came
to Gundpowder MM in MD, then on to Fairfax MM in Va. Samuel's
name is listed as coming to MD, but not joining the family in
VA, but he was said to be over 21 in MD, may have left the church.
I have never found birth, marriage or death of Samuel and so hesitate
to link him.]
