6 March 1821:
To Farmer--We the subscribers, having rented Mr. Wm. H. Handey's
Mills and Farm, hereby give notice to the farmers in the neighborhood,
that we shall be glad to do their grinding on the usual terms
and shall do out best to please by punc tuality and dispatch.

Mr. John Arnold, being a stranger in the neighborhood and my son
David young in years, I do hereby bind myself, my heirs &c.
to make good or being answerable for all the contracts the said
Arnold and Jenners make in the milling business. Given under my
hand this 26th day of February, 1821---Abiel Jenners

TO BE SOLD
On Friday 14th of this month at the late residence of Wm. Wright,
dec'd, the whole of the personal property belonging to the deceased--consisting
of Fat and Lean Cattle, Hogs and horses: one road and one plantation
wagon, with gears: and all the farming tools--also the crop of
corn on the farm belonging to the heirs of Mrs. Shelton, dec'd.....
