Will of John Carter, son of Peter Carter (d. ca 1800) and 1st
wife: to half brother Efraim Carter (son of Hannah), rest of estate
divided between my Brother Morris and my half sister Fanny Carter
(dau. of Hannah), my half brother James (son of Hannah). I appoint
my friend Henry Gunnell junr. to be Executor. Witnessed by William
Veale, William Lafaver, Patrick H. Douglass, Philip Houser.
