Bennet Creed and Mary Estes Creed supposedly moved from Orange County, VA to Surry County, NC. A son, John, born around 1771 had a wife named Mary. A John and Mary Creed married between 1855 and 1856 had 9 children. But, you can see my puzzlement at the dates!

I am searching for any information concerning Ferrell G. Hall born abt.1814 and married Elizabeth Mary Ann Grubbs, daughter of Thomas and Betty Grubbs, on January 12, 1832 in Orange County, Va. They had moved to Campbell Co. VA. by 1840. I have on occasion seen Ferrell's name written as Terrell. Any help is appreciated.

Henry Martin's will was proven on 1 Aug 1749, Spotsylvania Co.,VA., naming his wife, Jane, and their children: Henry, Sarah (m. Martin True), Benjamin, Alice (m. John Moore), Mary (m. Michael Robinson), John, William and Rose. My husband descends from Benjamin, who moved to Orange Co., VA. Would like to find descendants of the other children. Thanks!

Looking for parents and family for James Fisher b.1770/1780 VA d. 1849 Fairfield Co OH married 26 Dec. 1805 Orange Co VA to Fanny Mason b.Virginia d. before 1840. Several of their children married in Orange Co, VA prior to migration to Ohio.

Zachariah Lee was born in Albemarle Co around 1765. He settled in Botetourt Co after the Revolution. I am looking for information on his ancestors in the Albemarle, Bedford, Greene, Fluvanna, Goochland, or Orange County area. His wife was Jean Bright, born about 1765, married in Harrisonburg, Rockingham Co in December of 1781. Children include Jonathan William Lee, Elizabeth Lee, Zachariah Lee, Jr., William Lee, and Mary (Polly) Lee.

Hi! I'm researching a branch of my family that goes back to Orange Cty in the mid to late 1800's. I have very little info.] Not even town names . What I do have is a Jack R. Hicks born about 1898 to 1902 (he always said the government has the date wrong) He was a twin, don't know when twin died. His family had farm in Orange Cty, his dad died in the '50's. I found Jack R in SSdeath index. Any help, hints etc would be helpful Thanks in advance.

Seeking information on the families of the Modena's, Giannini families that came over from Italy. Who did Giovanni Francesco (Francis) Modena marry? Her first name was Patricia. The Giannini family is Francis' sister's family. She married Antonio Giannini in Italy. Do have the Modena's back to Italy. Need HELP! They were all over. Lousia, Ablemarle Orange Counties who knows where else.
