KINDEL posted by E. Cecil Kendall on Friday, May 2, 1997

I am seeking someone to do a lookup for me on William Kindel. I would like to know where he is buried and what is written on his stone. This is the abstract version of his will: pages 510-511. Will of William Kindel of the Parish of St. Thomas and County of Orange, being sick and weak of body, dated 9th of 1775 [9 Jan. 1775?]. I assume that the brackets refer to is it the 9th day of the year, meaning Jan 9th. It is witnessed 26 June 1777. Proved by Thomas Robins and William Picher. Also, the will ends with the name William (W) Kindel, is there a meaning for the (W)? Is it his middle initial or refers to his mark maybe? I would like a copy of the written version of the will and the info on the stone and where it is. William Kindel is my 4gr grandfather. He was married to Sarah Foster Kendall, who gathered her brood of 6 and moved to Wilkes county NC, after Williams death in Orange co. Any information or lead someone can give me would certainly be appreciated and I will be glad to exchange info and pay for costs, before or after.
