Looking for parents of Mildred Dohaney, born 1753 in Orange co., VA died 1830 in Illinois. She maried Elijah John Ballard, born 1751 in Orange co., VA, died 1810 in Indiana. The Dohaney name is spelled several different ways.

Need information on JOHN GHOLSON (GOLSON), b. ca 1720, died 1790 in Orange Co. He married Esther Cook, the daughter of Thomas Cook (I think).I also need help in obtaining a copy of the Inventory of his estate (if there was one). I have a copy of his Will. I also would appreciate information on this particular Cook family. I will gladly pay for copies, postage, etc., for his Inventory. If anyone has information on this Gholson family I would like to hear from you. John's father's name was ANTHONY GHOLSON, his mother was JANE______Gholson.

I am looking for information on WILLIAM RECTOR BOHON, born in Orange Co. in 1784. His father's name was JOHN BOHON and his father's name was BENJAMIN ANDREW. I have no other information on this branch. JOHN BOHON has an American Revolution record and I would appreciate any info on this. Thank you very much for your help.

I am searching for the family iof John Williams who married Mary Burton in Granville in 1783. John served 7 years in the Revolutionary War. He was probably born between 1745-1755 in Amerherst, Hanover, or Orange county. Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Seeking info on my 4th Great Grandfather, Ambrose BARNETT, b. 1760, Virginia (likely Orange Co), married October 31, 1781 in Orange Co., Va., to Sarah THORNTON, b. 1761, Orange Co., Va. Ambrose in Revolutionary War1777 to 1780. He and Sarah moved to Nicholas Co., Ky., sometime after war. Had 8 to 10 children. Ambrose died Dec. 18, 1832, Nicholas Co., Ky., and Sarah died Feb. 02, 1852, Nicholas Co., Ky. Sarah's father was Presley Thornton.

Looking for marriage of ZACHARIAH FORD TO KEZZIAH in Culpeper/Orange County about 1770-1780. They lived in the area of Culpeper that later became Madison Co., VA. They moved to Pulaski Co., KY about 1812. Would appreciate any information.
