KENDALL, KINDEL posted by E. Cecil Kendall on Monday, October 6, 1997

My William Kendall/Kindel's will mentioned being in "the county of Orange and the parish of st. Thomas" it was written in 1775 and proved in June of 1777. Could someone please tell me where the parish of st. Thomas is, and if there is a written record of the burials of that parish and if so where may I purchase it or find out where my William Kindel is buried. Next, would anyone know if there is such a thing as a death certificate for that time (1777), if so how do I find it? BASICALLY I CAN'T PUT MY WILLIAM KINDEL IN A FAMILY and can't get him back past that born abt. 1740 bit. Would appreciate ANY help anyone could give me no matter how menial it may sound. Thanks
