DANIELS, HUTCHISON, TERRELL posted by Ted Steele on Saturday, May 16, 1998

Archibald B. TERRELL was b. ca 1776 in VA.  He m. ca 1800 in Orange Co., VA, Sarah HUTCHISON, daughter of William Hutcheson and Sarah REDD of Spotsylvania Co., VA.  Their first five children were born in Orange Co., VA. Archibald TERRELL and family moved to Kentucky ca. 1806.  He was living in Woodford Co., KY, in 1807 (tax record).  Their last five children were born at Versailles, Woodford Co., KY. Archibald appears to have had a brother, Prestley TERRELL, who died in Woodford Co., KY, in 1835.  He may also have had a sister, Elizabeth TERRELL, who married William Wilkins. Archibald and Sarah had children: Vivian, Sidney (m. Robert SCROGIN), Susan (m. Luther SCROGIN), Martha/Patsy (m. Robert Beadle), William H. (m. Lucinda WILCOX), Prestley, John (m. Ethelinda Magill), Reuben, Edward (m. Margaret PETERS), Agnes, and Agatha. Archibald died at Versailles in Jan-Feb 1829. Was Archibald a son of William TERRELL (b. ca 1725) and Ann DANIELS?  William TERRELL may have been the son of Robert Terrell (1697-1786) and Mary Foster of VA.  This has been a difficult line to sort out.  Can you lend a hand?
