BOONE, DAY, PERFECT posted by Suzanne Allen on Friday, July 2, 1999

My second great grandfather, William Perfect, was born in Virginia in 1747 (probably Culpeper). He was called William Jr. and I'd like to find proof of his parents(probably William Sr.). He was said to have come from Scotland. William Jr. migrated to Kentucky(said to have gone with Daniel Boone), and then to Adams County, Ohio and on to Delaware County, Ohio in 1807, where a large group of Perfect descendants have lived since then. William married Elizabeth Day, born in Virginia.

FORRESTER, WALKER, WARNER posted by Darrell Warner on Monday, July 5, 1999

My ggg gf, John Warner, b. abt.1735?, d.1800, first appears in Orange County in the mid-1760's and is there except for a period in adjacent Culpepper until abt. 1790 when he and second wife, Ann Walker, moved to Pendleton Co. (His first wife was the daughter of John Forrester.) He always shows up on tax rolls next to the Walker family so probably lived next to them. In abt. 1780 he "proved" that he served in French and Indian War. In Revolution, he was listed in Culpepper Militia class #83. I am seeking information as to his origin, parents and siblings. Also, it is thought that Ann Walker was probably the daughter of Charles Walker but seek verification. Any help will be appreciated.
