I'm looking for any and all information on a Henry Harvey supposedly born in England ca. 1725 and who settled in Orange Co., VA. Another researcher believes he is the father to my William Harvey, b. 1749 in Orange Co., VA. He served in the Revolutionary War in North Carolina, moved to Tennessee where both he and his wife, Lenah Gentry-Harvey, are buried. I can't find anything on this Henry Harvey.

My "known" (unproven): James EARLY appears on the 1782 Tax List of Jeremiah WHITE (White-10, Black-33), apparently d.bef 1785, as probable wife Theodosia appears as h of h on 1785 Tax List of Jeremiah WHITE (White souls-3), as does probable son James (white souls-4) and son-in-law Thomas DAVIS (White souls-3). Elizabeth EARLY c.1766 m. 24 Jan 1783 in Orange Co, VA, to Thomas DAVIS b.1756-1765, Wit: William DAVIS & Thomas WHITE; Bond: James EARLY; daughter of Theodosia EARLY. Thomas and Elizabeth EARLY DAVIS are in Surry Co, N. C. by 1800, settling near other DAVIS family members who migrated from Orange Co, VA, c1783, with MCKENNEY and CREED families, maybe others as well.

CONNER/CONNOR, John: born abt. 1715, unknown location, died abt 1787, Orange Co., VA, USA. Married abt 1734 to Elizabeth KAVANAUGH, daughter of Philemon Kavanaugh, Spotsylvania Co. John and Elizabeth were parents of John Conner who married Lucy DANIEL, daughter of Reuben Daniel, Orange Co. I have a lot of information about the Kavanaugh and Daniel ancestors and Conner descendants, but I have been unable to find John CONNER's place of birth, parents, and siblings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also searching for his greatgrandson (son of Joseph Rouse and Susannah Rählsbach) who married Susan Ann and had a son, Joel Albert Rouse, born 1814 in Madison, VA. Joel married Sally Ann Pitcher 3 July 1832 in Boone County, Kentucky.

I am looking for information on my great-grandparents, Benjamin and Emma Thompson. According to my grandmother the family was from the Unionville area. Ben died several years before I was born so I never knew him. Emma died around 1974 or 1975. They had three children together, Evelyn/Mamie and Louis who was my grandfather. I am researching Leonard Davis Jr.who married Francis Wyant daughter of Peter Wyant(and Mary?) in Orange Co., VA 21 March 1820. Parents of Leonard is Leonard Davis Sr. and Mary Marshall in Albemarle Co., VA Dec. 23, 1788. Leonard and Francis had the following children: Mitchell b. ca. 1820; William Frederick born ca.1822; Elijah b. ca. 1826; Mary b.ca. 1828; Rebecca b. ca. 1832; and Sarah b. ca. 1835.
