             This indenture made this second day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one between Barbara Stoneberger of the county of Shenandoah and State of Virginia of the one part and George Kite if the same County and state aforesaid of the other part, witnefsth that the said Barbara Stoneberger for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars current money of said state unto her in hand paid by the said George Kite at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge have granted, bargained, sold, ? and confirmed, and by these presents… confirm unto the said George Kite his heirs and afsigns one equal undivided seventh part of share in and of a certain tract piece or parcel of land which Lewis Stoneberger senior died seized and pofsefsed of lying and being in said County on Stony Run between the South River of Shenandoah and the Hawksbill Creek supported to contain three hundred and seventy acres be the same more or less, and whereas the said Lewis Stoneber deceased died instate and seized of the ? and tract of land… entitled an act to reduce into due? the several acts directing the course of descents descending in parcemony to all his children of whom there are seven in number namely John Omare Elizabeth the said Barbara and Eve Nancy and Lewis Stoneberger and whereas the said John, Omare Stoneberger, Elizabeth Stoneberger, Eve Stoneberger, Nancy Stoneberger Lewis Stoneberger and the said Barbara Stoneberger are children and heirs at law of the said Lewis Stoneberger deceased… In testimony whereof the said Barbara Stoneberger has hereunto set her hand and seal the day and year first above written                                                                                             her

            We Abraham Strickler and Peter Hay justices of the peace, in the county aforesaid, in the State of Virginia do hereby certify that Barbara Stoneberger party to a certain deed, bearing date on the 2 day of June 1821 and hereto ? personally appeared before us in our county aforesaid and acknowledge the same to be her act and deed and desered us to certify the said acknowledgement to the Clerk of the County of Shenandoah in order that the said may be recorded. Given under our hands and seals this 2nd day of June in the year 1821-
