African-American descent born February 1857 in Chesterfield, VA. His spouse
was Sarah SMITH and his parents are listed as Richard and Lucy SCOTT. His
parental information was found in the Register of Marriage, 1880. We are
trying to find out which plantation Richard and Lucy would have lived on.

KERR - Here is what I know from old family letters and family records: My great grandmother's maiden name was SARAH CATHERINE (CASSIE) MARTIN (born March 19, 1857 in Tazewell Co., Virginia). Cassie Martin's parents were: SAMUEL MARTIN and MARY FRANCES KERR (born March 4, 1832 in Powhatan Co. Virginia). A family letter dated March 25, 1871 from Giles County indicates that MARY FRANCES KERR had the following siblings: ELIZA J. KERR, ADELAIDE KERR, AND VIRGINIA KERR. The letter also tells of the death of their father (no name given). He died on March 22, 1871, buried in Mr. Hoges Cemetery. He was "firm in the Jewish faith".

WILKINSON/WILKERSON - I am searching for documentation of transfer of a negro woman to Tarleton Wilkinson b. 1785 (Son of James Wilkinson). The transfer would have taken place between 1805 and 1812. In 1850 she appears in the Casey County Kentucky census and is called Aggy (55 years old). Your help is sincerely appreciated.
