TAYLOR, BURD - Looking for parents of Jesse Taylor and Minerva Burd. Also children of this couple. Both believed to have been born in VA. 4 children known...John, Nancy, Benjamin and another son. Jesse and Minerva moved to Hart Co. KY sometime in the early 1800's as they had Benjamin there about 1823\24. I don't know the order of the children..some could have been born in VA...some in KY. To my knowledge, this was a first marriage for both and neither ever remarried. Looking for proof that they are listed on a census from this county as early as 1780 and as late as 1820. If anyone has any info on these people or can do a census lookup during that time frame...will be happy to try to help you out in your search for your ancestors. I have a few disks I do lookup from.
